- Label 5.03
-
-
- HISTORY
- Label 5.03 is an upgrade to previous versions of Label xx.x that corrects
- the problems associated with some earlier versions and fine tunes the pro-
- gram. Label 5.03 is a standalone program written and compiled in Microsoft
- Quick Basic 4.5 for the sole purpose of making simple text labels. One
- day I wanted to print out a label for a 3 ring binder and couldn't find a
- program that was simple to use just for that purpose. All programs I found
- on the market were built for use with databases, and were designed mainly
- making mailing labels. After a couple weeks of searching both local and
- distant BBSs I became so frustrated that I sat down and wrote the original
- version of this program (version 1). Other versions followed close behind
- as I saw room for improvement in one area or another.
-
- USAGE
- The program is, as I said before, very basic in nature. The user does not
- need any help other than what is offered on the screen. The program prints
- on 1" X 5" labels in your choice of either compressed, normal, or double
- high, double wide characters or single address labels. It also allows you
- to shell to DOS.
